I will be visiting kalahasthi temple very shortly. Pls let me know rudrabhishekam should be performed before (or) after rahu ketu pooja. I am supposed to leave to my hometown on same day itself.
1) If rudrabhishekam is performed , is it mandatory that we need to spend 1 night in kalahasthi.
2) Shall we need to take bath after rahu pooja and we need to come in fresh clothes for rudrabhisekham.

Rudrabhishekam is not mandatory after Rahu Ketu Pooja, you are good to leave home.
It is advisable to take bath and discard clothes after Rahu Ketu Pooja and for Rudrabhishekam it is not required. it is Abhishekam to Lord Siva.

If pooja starts by 5 pm, it takes 40 mins for pooja and 30 mins for Darshan. You can complete pooja and Darshan by 6:30 pm max.
Rs.1500 ticket is good for couples, pooja will be conducted with less crowd.
