Kalahasti Gosamrakshana Trust Procedure

This scheme is meant to protect and emphasize the spiritual importance of cows that are considered divine by Hindus by creating a modern Goshala with all facilities for maintaining cows.

Under Gosamrakshana scheme, Gosala was started. The devotees who donate cows under this scheme have to deposit Rs.10,000 towards the maintenance of cow. At present, there are 420+ cows and calves, for the maintenance of which an amount of Rs. 1 crore is required. The devotees can donate any amount under this scheme. The Devasthanam will provide necessary cattle feed and dry grass to the cows with the donation amounts received.
