Nrusimha Pasupatham in Srikalahasti: Cost, Timing, and Booking

Nrusimha Pasupatham in Srikalahasti is performed daily. It is advisable to perform this puja on the day of the Swati Nakshatra for the best results. This puja removes the negative effects of black magic. Anyone can perform this puja regardless of their age. The puja duration is 3 hours. Typically, two to three priests will be performing this ritual. You can perform this puja on the first Friday of the month for the best results. A single person or a couple can perform this puja. Amavasya days are highly preferred for this puja. This puja protects the family members from negative energy.

We offer online puja services for those who are unable to attend. The puja will be livestreamed through the video call. We request the family members to stay on the live call until we complete this puja. The puja starts at 8 a.m. on normal days. During Amavasya, this puja starts at 6.30 a.m. It is advisable to fast while performing this puja, if possible. We don’t suggest fasting for the elderly and children. Puja Dress Code

Gents: dhoti (white) and upper cloth.
Ladies: saree.
Regardless of age group, we kindly request that all devotees refrain from wearing clothing such as T-shirts and jeans.

Instructions to be followed

Women can participate in this puja after the fifth day of their menstrual cycle.
If there is any death in the family, one should perform the puja after 3 months.
One should stop consuming non-veg food and alcohol for another 11 days after the puja.
Three days before the puja, one should abstain from alcohol and non-vegetarian foods.

Nrusimha Pasupatham Procedure in Srikalahasti

This puja is performed in a yagashala located outside the Srikalahasti temple. During this ritual, we perform Abhishekam to the deity with sugarcane juice and Panakam made from jaggery. We perform archana with red flowers and offer coconuts and vadapappu panakam to the deity. Those planning to perform this puja should bring 1 kg of cow ghee. We will supply the remaining puja articles. One should take a head bath before the puja. This puja should be performed with utmost devotion and sincerity. People believe that the effects of this puja will be seen within a week.
