What is the Supadam Entrance Darshan?
Privileged Darshan is available in Tirumala Temple on most of the days. Darshan available between 12:00 pm to 6:00 pm. This entrance is located at Vaikuntam I entrance. Arjitha Seva devotees and Privileged Darshan devotees are allowed to have Darshan from this entry.

1)Extra Ticket at Rs.300 will be given to Unmarried Daughter under 18 years of Kalayanam Ticket Holder only.
2) The ticket is not required for Children Up to 12 years in Tirumala for any type of Darshan.

Thank you for your reply. I just checked in TTD website and see accommodation is not released for 15-Sep (made as white, whereas all other dates are in blue). Im not sure if that will be released 56 days in advance.

We have planned Lord Venkateshwara darshan on Aug 25, My mom has undergone Radiation treatment for Tumors, Due to which She has become very weak, now unable to walk properly, My father will be accompanied by her, Will my mother and father (For Support/Assistant) be allowed in Spl queue where she can avail Darshan soon on Submission of Medical Certificate.

We are planning to visit Tirupati on Dec 19th afternoon, and walk up the hill if possible. We will have both sets of our parents with us, who are senior citizens. We are planning to go to Darsan on 20th. We have another plan to reach there by 22nd and have darsan on 23rd, return by 24th. 1. We are concerned that being Christmas vacation time, and Monday being Vaikuntha ekadasi. Which are days are better compared to both? Our father is little sick and old, he can’t stand for long time.

2) Yes, you all can have Darshan thru Supadam at 3 pm, as it overlaps with NRI timings as well.
3) TTD is planning to release Arjtha Seva tickets during the first week of Oct for online booking and you can easily book tickets.

Yes, even a day before Vaikunta Ekadasi, Tirumala will be crowded. Darshan waiting time will be at peaks, it goes to 2 hours. Why it is so special on Vaikunta Ekadasi in Tirumala is? Vaikunta dwaram will be opened only on this particular day. Whoever pass thru this doors will have Vaikunta Prapthi.
So devotees start reaching tirumala a day in advance, and it takes 2 days to clear the crowd in Tirumala. During this time, TTD will cancel all Arjitha Sevas. It would be nice even if it is Christmas Holidays.
When comes to accommodation, there is no private hotels in Tirumala, it is all TTD property. And for advance booking it is http://www.ttdsevaonline.com.

We are planning to visit thirumala on Dec 2nd with an infant and one more kid ,we are traveling from US on Nov 27th .I have booked 12hrs- 24hrs accommodation in thirumala itself as we are doing mottai .I have heard from my parents that it takes atleast 4 hours and minimum 2- 3kms of walk for darshan if we go through any sevas/special entry darshans/NRI/SUPATHAM. It 2-3 km walk is not true, if it is NRI darshan, line starts at Supadam entrance which is next to Vaikuntam Queue complex entrance. NRI darshan thru supadam is easy compared to Rs.300 tickets. As it is weekday, crowd will be minimal and Darshan will take hardly 1 hour 45 mins.
For NRI darshan, Rs.300 tickets are issued at Supadam entrance. No need to buy tickets online this, these are special tickets issued at Supadam entrance only for privileged persons.

I have planned 2 days since i will have a recommendation letter from a sitting Tamilnadu MP for VIP dharshan and hence i will have to be present the previous day .

Senior citizens having different entrance now which is at Tirumala Nambi Temple, South Mada street, beside main temple. Senior citizen entry is free. Supadam darshan is for infants below 12 months of age. 13 months will not considered.
2) If so, are these Rs 300 tickets are helpful for us without taking tickets at supadam counter? – Infant is free Darshan for infant, infant monther, infant father. No tickets required for this.
3) If they allow us, can we go supadam darshan before 1 pm instead of alloted time slot? – Not posbsible, senior citizens should go on different line and quick darshan for them.
4) We tried for the accommodation when we booked the special darshan tickets, but we didn’t get. So please help us in this regard. – Rooms at TTD cottages in Tirumala and Tirupati over the weekend takes long waiting time. It would be nice if you look for private accommodation in Tirupati.
It is advisable to continue with Rs.300 ticket, as infant entry is not possible with 13 months old baby. Birth certificate is required to access Supadam free Darshan with Infant. That too only , infant, infant mother, infant father are allowed and not relatives.

From Tirumala Bus station , it is straight road to Annamayya circle and then further straight and take steps down to shopping complex, just 2 -3 mins you can find a tree from there left will take you Suapdam. I will mail you the route map.

Try to book tickets online, spend some 2 -3 hours and get seva tickets. One book for 2 persons on a login ID.
Do you want to walk from Alipiri to Tirumala Supatham, if so, please park you vehicle at Balaji Bus station just 150 ft from Alipiri Entrance.
If you don’t get these sevas, then look for Kalyanotsavam, which will be available easily.

I have a question. In the online TTD site, for e special darshan(300 rs) ticket, ID proof list doesn’t have driving license and PAN card? What can be done if the person doesnt’ have Adhar/Voter/Ration card? Also if I am travelling with 5 more piligrims, only the primary piligrim needs to show original ID provided at the time of booking? Or all accompanying piligrims original ID proof needs to be provided?

It is advisable to carry ID proofs for all, as staff can demand for id proof anytime.
Driving license and PAN card photos are pretty small, so they removed this option. This is for security measures.
Even you can carry downloaded Aadhaar card copy, it is accepted.
Main person should carry the ID proof which is listed while booking ticket.
Others can carry ID proofs whichever is available.

But for one query you have answered as 13 months old kid cant go with the parents as he is older than 12 months. Please clarify on this. There is a recent change in Senior citizens darshan entrance. It is moved from Supadam to Tirumala Nambi Temple in south mada street.
Supadam is taking more and it is not convenient for age persons, to provide hassle free darshan, it is moved to new entrance.

As you are planning in 23rd May. You can plan for Kalyanotsavam seva which is equally good.
I truly understand it will be little difficult for the younger one.Bathing is required after hair offering and before entering darshan line, hot water will be available.
Ticket is only required for 4 adults, so you need 2 Kalyanotsavam tickets or 4 Unjal seva tickets.
For 2 kalyanotsavam tickets or 4 Unjal, you need to have 2 login IDs.
On Arriving at Tirupati Railway station, It will take 5 mins to reach Tirupati Bus station.
From Tirupati bus station, bus will be leaving in every 15 mins to Tirumala. It will take 45 mins to reach Tirumala.
Try to book accommodation in Tirumala. You need to show receipt at CRO office Tirumala, where room will be allotted. It will take 45 mins for complete check-in process.
For tonsuring, please offer hair at Rambagicha Guest House (near main temple. 10 -15 mins walk from Tirumala bus station.) or Sri Padmavathi Guest House ( it take 10 mins by TTD free bus). It is paid service so it will not take more than 30 mins.
Bathing another 30 mins. Then report at Supadam for the seva and darshan.
Kalyanotsavam takes 1 hour 15 mins + 25 mins for darshan.

Seems like this entrance will also be crowded and there are chances for being crushed. Since my husband is not in station, I will be visiting alone with my 2children. This Video was shot on a special day, so the crowd was little high. It will not be the same on all days. I can understand with two children in the darshan queue will be challenging.
For infant darshan, crowd will be less. Supadam entrane is a different entrance near Vaikuntam I. Rs.300 darshan entrance is at different location.
If it is Tue,Wed then crowd will be minimal and easy darshan. As it is weekend, crowd will be normal, I believe you can manage them easily.

4. If it is weekdays, Tue,Wed, Thu, then it will take 45 mins max. If it is weekends then it will be little high.

Seva tickets can be easily booked using Indian banks issued credit cards. Do you have any friends in India from whom you can get either Debit or Credit Details to book the Seva tickets.
1. First you have to create on login ID at ttdsevaonline website by providing India Mobile number
2. OTP will be sent to the mobile number
3. On authenticating the number. You can book Seva tickets.
4. While booking Seva tickets you would need to Indian Banks issued Credit/Debit Cards.
Please try to register at ttdsevaonline using India number (you can get number from your friends or relatives in India) It is one time authentication only. OTP is not required while book Seva tickets or accommodation

Secondly, me along with my family has planned the darshan on 20th Aug 2016(Saturday).
I have few queries in regards to this:
1. My mother aged 57 is physically disabled(Right leg amputated at thigh level) and hence cannot walk for more than few feet and cannot tread stairs. So is it possible to get battery cars from the guest houses to the senior citizen/ disabled special darshan entry point?
2. Can me or my wife accompany her in the darshan queue as she alone will not be able to manage in the darshan line? (I think this question could be a repetitive question in this forum)
3. What is the process to get a wheel chair for the darshan purpose?(I know the wheel chairs are not allowed into the darshan line. However is it possible to use the wheel chair from senior citizen/disabled special darshan entry point to the darshan line?)
4. Will there be any steps or stairs(even one) from the senior citizen/disabled special darshan entry point to Swamy’s Darshan point.
5. Does she still required to have a medical certificate as proof for disability even though it is clearly visible?
6. Post the Registration at 8AM and 1PM, are there any facilities for the elderly and disabled to sit and wait until the line opens for darshan?
7. As my mother needs her walker to walk, will it be allowed into the darshan area?
8. Pot the darshan will the battery cars be available for transporting the elderly/disabled back to the guest houses?
9. Since the plan for darshan is on a saturday, what would be extent of rush that needs to be expected in the senior citizen/disabled special darshan?
10. Is there a provision for purchasing the laddu prasad for the elderly/disabled during the special darshan?
Though these questions seems to be so many and too basic, it is just my anxious effort to make my mother’s darshan as comfortable as possible, that I am planning to ensure it is planned properly.

Thank you for your prompt and clear response. The only travelers to Tirumala are my parents (both are senior citizens) and my sister with her infant son. Since my sister is the only one in her family travelling to Tirumala with her infant son, Is there a possibility of my parents join her in the line (since it will be very difficult for her to manage the infant all by herself in the line), whether it is infant line or NRI line. All three of them have already purchased the 300/- tickets online. If there is a way for them to go together, that will be very helpful. My self and four seniors above the age of 80 one 75 three along with one relative lady aged 50 yrs are coming to Tirumala on 3rd Feb 17 and would like to take the Senior citizens que at 1pm. We came to know that senior citizens will be allowed only once at 3pm on Friday. Kindly confirm senior cistizens timings on Friday and whether We four senior citizens can bring with us our relative aged 50 along with us to give company to us.

TTD is allowing police at Thirumala on free of cost at supadam, and for defence it is chargeable.

Supadam remains open on 2Apr. Darshan might take 2 hours. Will it be possible for you book for 9 am, 11 am or 1 pm slots so that crowd will be minimal during this time

Senior Citizen line is different from infant darshan line. Senior Citizens will have Darshan at 10:00 am and 3:00 pm. Infant darshan will be from 12:00 pm to 6:00 pm.
All other darshan lines will be stopped while senior citizens are having Darshan

Sir, For supatham entry under infants category, does parents means both mother and father allowed at free of cost. Please clarify. And also for senior citizens above 65 years, is this free entry or 300 ticket is to be taken??

Baby mother, father and siblings under 12 years are allowed to have Darshan at free of cost. Darshan tickets will be issued at Supadam Entrance itself.
Senior Citizens will have Free Darshan from the different entry point. Tickets will be issued from 7:00 am onwards at the counter opp. to S.V.Museum for Senior Citizens.

Yes, it is available for infants (4 months) + baby parents and siblings are allowed to have darshan thru Supadam. For your parents, you have to book darshan tickets in advance and it is going to be separate line for them.
Please don’t plan for darshan on 16Feb which is Rathasapthami.
