Our Sanskriti & Gyan Temples Pooja, Darshan, and Timings Subramanya Homam in Srikalahasti is performed daily. The puja lasts for 2-3 hours. Anyone can perform this puja regardless of their age. This puja is performed to remove obstacles in your married life. Typically, two to three priests will be performing this ritual. This puja is performed in a yagashala outside the main temple. It is advisable to fast while performing this puja. Lord Subramanya will be invoked during this ritual. This puja is performed to gain victory in all aspects. A single person or a couple can perform this puja.
We offer online puja services for those who are unable to attend. The puja will be livestreamed through the video call. Lord Murugan, or Subramanya, the commander-in-chief for the Devas, will bless the family members with auspicious fortune. It is advisable to fast while performing this puja. Even parents can perform this puja on behalf of their children. Subramanya Homam is performed to minimize the negative effects of the Mangal Graha.
Puja Dress Code
- Gents: dhoti (white) and upper cloth.
- Ladies: saree.
- Regardless of age group, we kindly request that all devotees refrain from wearing clothing such as T-shirts and jeans.
Instructions to be followed
- Women can participate in this puja after the fifth day of their menstrual cycle.
- If there is any death in the family, one should perform the puja after 3 months.
- One should stop consuming non-veg and alcohol for another 11 days after the puja.
- Three days before the puja, one should abstain from alcohol and non-vegetarian foods.
Subramanya Homam in Srikalahasti
I recommend performing this puja on Tuesdays. We will provide the required puja articles. Since Avabrutha will be performed at the conclusion, please carry an extra set of clothes. This puja is performed outside the Srikalahasti temple.
