Durga Homam in Gokarna is performed daily. The puja lasts for about 3 hours. Two priests will perform this ritual. This puja is performed to remove negative energy. Instructions to be followed
- Women can participate in this puja after the fifth day of their menstrual cycle.
- One should stop consuming non-veg and alcohol for another 11 days after the puja.
- Three days before the puja, one should abstain from alcohol and non-vegetarian foods.
Durga Homam Procedure in Gokarna
Durga Homam starts at 8.00 a.m. Anyone can perform this ritual regardless of their age. It is advisable to perform this puja once a year for protection. A single person or a couple can perform this puja. This ritual is an individual puja. A puja for the Mother Goddess Durga to protect you from evil deeds and negative thoughts.
