Rameswaram Rahu Ketu Pooja

• Pooja Cost: Rs. 9000
• Timings: 6:00 a.m.–9 a.m. Pooja will be performed daily.
• Pooja duration: 2 hours, 45 minutes.
• Men are to wear White Pancha or Dhoti
• Females should wear a Saree with a blouse or a Chudidhar with a Dupatta
• Pooja Location: Kodilinga Mandapam, Rameswaram
• No. of persons allowed: 4 persons. Additional costs for extra people.
• Homam on the second day for 1 hour.
• No.Of priests performing this Pooja: 8
• Auspicious days for the Pooja: Sunday or Tuesday. Grahanam days, Amavasya days, and Naga Panchami.

Rameswaram Rahu Ketu Pooja Procedure

1. One must reach Rameswaram a day in advance.
2. One can food for Rahu Ketu Pooja
3. Pooja runs for 2 hr 45 mins – 3 hours.
4. After Pooja, the devotee is advised to have Darshan of Ramanatha Swamy.
5. This pooja usually starts at 6:00 am and ends by 9:00 am
6. Rahu Ketu Pooja can be performed during Rahu Kala timings on devotees’ request.
7. Usually, 6:00 am is preferable for the Pooja
8. On the 2nd day, Homam will be performed for 1 hour.
9. One must fast till they complete this Pooja.
10. Pooja and Darshan will be completed by 9 am.
11. One must not visit any other temples after this puja.
