Pitru Dosha can be identified in your Kundali when the Sun (representing ancestors/father) or the Moon is afflicted by shadow planets such as Rahu or Ketu in key houses (1st, 2nd, 5th, 9th, or 10th) of your horoscope. This signifies ancestral debts, unfulfilled last rites, or karmic burdens passed down through generations. Pitru Dosha can be inherited from the previous birth. One should perform this puja with utmost devotion and sincerity.
