Infant Entry in Tirumala Detailed Description

Infant up to 1 year  can avail special benefits in Darshan. Infant and His/Her Parents are allowed for Darshan via Supadam. Special Entry Darshan is available for Infant and His/Her Parents right from 8:30 am – 10:30 am and 12 pm – 6 pm. Not during Seva Timings ( Like Kalyanotsavam, Arjitha Brahmotsavam, Sahasra Deeplankara Seva). All these seva ticket holders are also allowed through Supdam Entrance. Infant and Parents are allowed After Seva Ticket Holders Darshan Time.

It is always advisable to carry Age proof for the Infant, like Birth Certificate or any other certificate to prove Infant’s age. If Infant is close to a year then T.T.D staff may demand Age proof at the Supadam Entrance. Supadam Special Entrance is less crowded than General Queue, Only privileged people do have access to this Entrance.

Supadam entry is free of Cost for Infant  (Under 12 months), Infant’s parents and Siblings ( under 12 years of age).

General Questions with respect to Supadam Entrance

1) Supadam is located 100-150 ft from Vaikuntam Queue Complex Entrance

2) Age proof is mandatory for the Infant

3) Infant and Parents are allowed for Darshan anytime between 12 pm – 6 pm

4) The ticket is not required for Infant and His /Her Parents Entry via Supadam.

5) Only parents are allowed along with Infant, no other relatives are allowed.

6) No waiting time for Supadam Darshan. Darshan line will be later mixed with the running queue line at the last compartment.

Infant Entry Dress Code

Men: White Pancha, Dhoti/ Kurta, Pyjama.

Female: Saree with blouse/ Punjabi Dress with Dupatta / Chudidhar with Dupatta/ Half saree

  1. Hi Kamal,

    We are planning for darshan on 9th or 15th with our 9 months old bady, please advise which date we will have less crowd. Do we need to book any reservation or we can directly come over to supdam entrance.
    Please advice the suitable day and time and process we need to follow for the supdam entrance.

      Crowd will be minimal on 9th Jun. Plan your darshan at 8:30 am so that you can have early darshan. Dress code to be followed

      Men: White Pancha, Dhoti/ Kurta,Pyjama.
      Female: Saree with blouse/ Punjabi Dress with Dupatta / Chudidhar with Dupatta/ Half saree


  2. Sir we are planning for darshan with infants on 29 th may. What time shld we come for darshan. What items can we carry.

    • Dear Madam,

      Infant Darshan will be available in slots 8:30 am – 10:30 and 12 pm – 5 pm. You can carry baby food and diapers. Plan to be there at Supadam entrance by 8:00 am or 11:15 pm
