<p>The temple is located in Jammu&#8217;s Sidhra, Majeen neighborhood, and received its official opening on June 8, 2023, from Union Home Minister Amit Shah. It was built on 62 acres of land, and the temple has the potential to grow into one of the biggest in the Jammu area. The Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD) oversaw the temple, built after the Tirumala Venkateswara Temple in Andhra Pradesh. All devotees are welcome to enter the temple, a well-liked travel destination for Hindus worldwide.</p>



<p>A beautiful white marble monument with lovely green gardens surrounds the temple. The temple is decorated with elaborate carvings and features a large entrance. A gold and silver statue of Lord Venkateswara is kept at the temple&#8217;s main shrine. Numerous additional shrines at the temple are devoted to other Hindu deities. The temple is a must-see for anybody traveling to Jammu and is a well-liked Hindu pilgrimage site.</p>

<p>The cost of marriage in Tirumala depends on the arrangements, such as hall decoration, pooja articles, purohit, the number of rooms required, and the food menu. Marriage costs start at Rs. 45,000 for a simple wedding in the hall.</p>



<h2 class="wp-block-heading">Simple marriage process in TTD Kalyanavedika Tirumala </h2>



<ul class="wp-block-list" start="2">
<li>It is required that both the bride and the groom belong to the Hindu religion.</li>



<li>The bride must be at least 18 years old, and the groom must be a minimum of 21 years old on the day of the wedding.</li>



<li>Before getting married, both the bride and groom are required to present the TTD authorities with a certificate of age, which can be any of the following: a school certificate, a birth certificate, a photograph identification card, a passport, or a driver&#8217;s license.</li>



<li>The bride and groom are required to submit a certificate regarding proof of their residential address. This certificate can be either an Aadhaar card or a residential certificate received from the Tahsildar in charge of the area.</li>



<li>Both the bride and the bridegroom&#8217;s parents are required to be physically present for the marriage.  </li>



<li>If either the father or the mother has passed away, the other parent is required to go with their Aadhar card and the death certificate of the parent who has passed away. Guardians will be allowed to be present if both of the parents have passed away, provided that they can duly produce evidence of identity (Aadhar Card) along with the death certificate of the parents.</li>



<li>Love and second marriages are not allowed at Kalyanavedika Tirumala.</li>



<li>Both the bride and groom have to submit the unmarried certificate that has been obtained from the relevant authorities (MRO/Thasildhar).</li>



<li>Marriages may be conducted in groups, depending on Muhurtham Day.</li>



<li>The TTD will present a receipt of darshan following the completion of the marriage ritual at Kalyana Vedika. </li>



<li>It is free entry for the bride, the groom, and four additional people (the couple&#8217;s parents or guardians) through a <a href="https://gotirupati.com/e-special-entry-darshan/" data-type="post" data-id="4628" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">special entry darshan</a> line.</li>



<li>A room that costs Rs. 50 will be offered at no cost for twenty-four hours, and an extension will be available upon payment on the second day. </li>



<li>Upon payment, a second room will be made available to you, but this is subject to availability.</li>



<li>To obtain a marriage certificate from the Tirumala registration office, pilgrims can use the same receipt of darshan.</li>



<li>TTD will provide the couples with Prasadam, Pasupu (turmeric), and Kumkuma (vermilion). Kankanams will also be provided.</li>
</ul>



<h2 class="wp-block-heading">Marriage Booking Process in Tirumala for Wedding Halls</h2>



<ul class="wp-block-list" start="2">
<li>Both the bride&#8217;s family and the groom&#8217;s family should belong to the Hindu religion.</li>



<li>The bride must be at least 18 years old, and the groom must be a minimum of 21 years old on the day of the wedding.</li>



<li>Bride, groom&#8217;s, bride&#8217;s parents, and groom&#8217;s parents Aadhar card photocopies are required.</li>



<li>Bride and groom&#8217;s 10th mark sheet or birth certificate photocopies.</li>



<li>Love marriages without parental acceptance are not performed at Tirumala marriage halls.</li>



<li>Halls and rooms can be booked upon submitting the required documents.</li>



<li>The marriage hall will be allotted from 3 p.m. to 3 p.m. the next day.</li>



<li>The hall manager will give you a receipt that you can use for marriage registration.</li>



<li>The marriage hall&#8217;s capacity varies from 50 to 500 pax, which can be booked 3 months in advance.</li>



<li>Anyone from the bride&#8217;s or groom&#8217;s family can submit the documents for the hall booking.</li>
</ul>

<p>Rooms are available at the marriage hall, and rooms up to 30 can be booked while booking the hall. For private marriage halls, darshans have to be booked separately on their own.</p>



<h2 class="wp-block-heading">TTD SMC Marriage Hall Booking Procedure</h2>



<ul class="wp-block-list">
<li>Both the family of the bride and the family of the groom must be Hindus.</li>



<li>Before the day of the wedding, the bride must be a minimum of 18 years old, and the groom must be at least 21 years old. Both of these requirements must be met.</li>



<li>We require copies of the Aadhar cards belonging to the bride, the groom, the bride&#8217;s parents, and his parents.</li>



<li>A photocopy of the bride and groom&#8217;s birth certificates or their tenth-grade report card or SSLC mark list.</li>



<li>Both the bride and groom have to submit the unmarried certificates that they obtained from the appropriate authorities (MRO/Thasildhar).</li>



<li>Hall booking opens on the 90th calendar day before the marriage date</li>



<li>Second and love marriages are not allowed at SMC, TBC, and ATC marriage halls.</li>



<li>Parents from different sides must be available for the hall booking.</li>



<li>The hall cost varies from Rs. 200 to Rs. 500.</li>

<h3>Vakulamatha Temple Darshan Details</h3>
<ol>
<li>Darshan Dress Code: Any decent outfit is allowed for Darshan.</li>
<li>Darshan Ticket is not required as it is Free Darshan for all devotees.</li>
<li>As the temple is located on the hilltop and the route to the temple is a little steep. Senior Citizens, Patients and Differently abled pilgrims might need assistance to take steps.</li>
<li>Darshan Duration: 10 to 15 mins. Archana, Harathi and Theertham will not be offered during Sarva Darshan.</li>
<li>Limited Free Prasadam in the morning and evening hours.</li>
</ol>
<h3>Restriction for two-wheelers and Four Wheelers</h3>
<p>The Four-wheeler route is available to the hilltop but only Devasthanam vehicles, staff and shop persons are allowed in this route. Two-wheelers and Four Wheelers are not allowed to hilltop unless it is required. Usually, it takes 10 to 15 mins to reach the temple on the hilltop. It is advisable to visit in the Early hour or in the evening hours during Summer.</p>
<h3>Facilities at Vakulamatha Temple</h3>
<ul>
<li>A drinking water facility is available at the steps entrance and at the temple as well.</li>
<li>Restroom (Toilet) is available at the bottom of the hill.</li>
<li>Free parking facility is available at the steps entrance for Two-wheelers and Four Wheelers.</li>
<li>Free Shoe keeping centre is available at the steps entrance.</li>
<li>Eatables are available at the steps entrance and on the hilltop as well.</li>

<h2>Tirumala Marriage Hall Booking Procedure</h2>
<ol>
<li>The bride must be 18 years of age or older.</li>
<li>The bridegroom must be 21 years of age or older.</li>
<li>Only Hindu-arranged marriages are allowed at Tirumala</li>
<li>A minimum of 3 to 4 months of booking is advisable for hall bookings</li>
<li>Both the bride&#8217;s parents and the BrideGroom&#8217;s Parents must be available for the marriage</li>
<li>Bride and Groom&#8217;s Aadhar Cards/Passport photocopies</li>
<li>Bride parents and Bridegroom parent&#8217;s Aadhar Cards photocopies</li>
<li>The bride and Groom&#8217;s PAN card, Driving license, birth certificate, 10th Mark sheet, and passport photocopies are required</li>

<h3>Tirumala Marriage Registration After Marriage</h3>
<p>After marriage, registration can be performed here at Tirumala SMC. The required documents are</p>

<li>Bride parents and Groom parent&#8217;s Aadhar Cards photocopies</li>
<li>Bride and Groom&#8217;s 10th Marksheet, PAN Card, Driving License, or Birth Certificate</li>
<li>Wedding Invitation Card</li>
<li>Three Witnesses along with their Aadhar Cards photocopies</li>
</ol>
<p>Marriage Registration certification will be issued on the same day. The registration office is open on all days in Tirumala as Marriage Happens on all days in a year.</p>
<h3>Tirupati Balaji Darshan after Marriage</h3>
<ol>
<li>The bride, groom, and four other members are allowed to have <a href="https://gotirupati.com/e-special-entry-darshan/">Special Entry Darshan</a>. This applies only to SMC and Purohit Sangam marriages.</li>

<li>Markathambiga Abhishekam will be performed with Milk and Water</li>
<li>Later, devotees are allowed to wait outside as Alankarana will be performed to the deities</li>
<li>The devotees are allowed to watch Sri Valmikeswara Swamy and Markathambigai Alankarana Darshan</li>
<li>Harathi followed by Pancha Harathi will be offered to the devotees</li>
<li>Later, the devotees can leave the temple after collecting the Garlands, Coconut and Prasadam.</li>
<li>The complete Abhishekam and Darshan process takes about 1 hour and 30 mins.</li>
