Aksharabhyasam is performed daily at this temple. Advance booking not required for this event. It is on arrival ticket purchase over the counter for the same day of the event. Pilgrims can check with an astrologer on the auspicious date and time for this event.

Basara Temple Darshan Timings

  • Morning Hours: 5:00 am to 1:00 pm
  • Evening Hours: 2:00 pm to 7:30 pm

Please note that Basara Temple Timings changes on special days.

Special Poojas

  1. Abhishekam will be performed to the deity and ticket costs Rs.200. 2 persons are allowed per ticket.
  2. Timings: 4:30 am – 5:30 am. Nijaroopa Darshan will be available during Abhishekam. Abhishekam will be performed daily. Devotees can offer Ghee, Curd, Milk, Honey, Sugar and other fruits for this Pooja.

By Air

  1. The nearest airport is at Hyderabad which is 259 km away.

By Train

  1. The nearest railway station is at Basara which is 2 km from the temple and at Nizamabad which is 30 km away.

By Bus

  1. The direct bus is available from MGBS Hyderabad.

      you can go and perform akshrabyasam but the age considered is 2.6 years but it’s absolutely fine you can go to perform.

      Hi Sir,

      temple will be open from 3 am but darshan available from 7 am onwards and it will be closed between 1-2 pm and reopens at 2 pm and closed at 8:30 pm.
