Pooja Location: Small Size Hall ( 50 to 60 members) or Big Size Hall ( 100 to 125 members) capacity

The child father will be performing the Pooja rituals before the Yagnopavethadharana which is about 4 hours. After Yagnopavethadharana, the child will be performing the Homam for about 1 hour.
What is the Ideal age for Upanayanam?
- For a Brahmin Child: 8th year (Garbhashtami) or before 16th year
- For a Kshatriya Child: 12th or 14th or 16th year
- It is the 16th year for a Vaishya Child.
It is advisable to perform Upanayanam (Odugu) before the 16th year.
