Narayanabali Pooja in Gokarna: Cost, Timing, and Booking

Narayanabali Pooja in Gokarna is performed daily. The puja lasts for about 2 hours and 30 minutes. Anyone can perform this puja regardless of their age. An elder from the family should perform this puja. This puja is performed to pacify unsatisfied souls. Unsatisfied souls may not reach Moksha or enter the cycle of rebirth. The current family members will suffer as it wanders this planet. Consequently, unhappy souls lead to several problems, including health problems and family conflicts. An unsatisfied soul may keep appearing in dreams. Moksha Narayanabali Pooja starts at 8.30 a.m. on normal days. During Pitru Paksha days, this puja starts as early as 5 a.m. On a Mahalaya Amavasya day, the puja starts at four in the morning. It is advisable to perform this puja on an Amavasya day.

We offer online puja services for those who are unable to attend. The puja will be livestreamed through the video call. One should join the video call to perform sankalpam. The puja procedure remains the same whether it is Pratyeksha or Paroksha. A single person or a couple can perform this puja. Moksha Narayanabali Pooja can be performed after the person’s eleventh-day ritual. This puja can be performed even before the eleventh-month ritual. If you intend to perform this puja after the eleventh-month ritual, you can add the names of all your ancestors.

Puja Dress Code

  • Gents: dhoti (white) and upper cloth.
  • Ladies: saree.
  • Regardless of age, we kindly request that all devotees refrain from dressing in jeans and T-shirts.

Instructions to be followed

  • Women can participate in this puja after the fifth day of their menstrual cycle.
  • If there is any death in the family, one should perform the puja after 3 months.
  • One should stop consuming non-veg and alcohol for another 11 days after the puja.
  • Three days before the puja, one should abstain from alcohol and non-vegetarian foods.

Moksha Narayanabali Pooja in Gokarna

This puja is performed in a yagashala located outside the Gokarna Mahabaleshwar Temple. One should take a head bath before and after the puja. It is advisable to fast while performing this puja. While coming for this puja, please bring 1 kg of cow ghee, 1 liter of gingelly oil, and 2 coconuts. We supply the remaining puja articles for this ritual. At Gokarna, we speak Kannada, Telugu, Tamil, Hindi, and English. All puja mantras will be recited in Sanskrit. We don’t advise fasting for the elderly, patients, and children. This ceremony is an individual puja. In Gokarna, we perform Thila Homam, Tripindi Shradh, and Pinda Pradhan along with Moksha Narayanabali Pooja.

It is advisable to reach Gokarna one day before. The puja will be performed in your native language.
