This yoga is formed when Jupiter is conjunct or aspected by Rahu in a birth chart. Rahu is a malefic planet, while Jupiter is generally considered fortunate. So this yoga is due to any astrological relationship between these two in a birth chart. It is essential to keep in mind that this yoga is not always inauspicious. The birth chart has to be correctly interpreted.

Instructions to be followed
- Women can participate in this puja after the fifth day of their menstrual cycle.
- If there is any death in the family, one should perform the puja after 3 months.
- One should stop consuming non-veg and alcohol for another 11 days after the puja.
- Three days before the puja, one should abstain from alcohol and non-vegetarian foods.

When Rahu afflicts Jupiter in the birth chart, the following remedies help pacify Jupiter. Chant any of the following mantras. You do not need to read all 19,000 recitations at once. Repeat a certain number of times a day until you reach the necessary number.
