      Saturdays in this month is precious and crowd will be high in Tirumala. So It is advisable to look for private accommodation in Tirupati.

      Respected sir, five families are coming to tirupathi on 14th ,so we need a room in madhavan or padmavathi guest house in tirupathi,as there are no rooms in tirumala so how can we get rooms.

        Dear Madam,

        As it is weekday, Rooms at Madhavam Guest House will be allotted to Pilgrims On Arrival. Please note that 14th Oct is the starting day for Brahmotsavam.
        After reaching Tirupati, one can go to Vishnu Nivasam ( Near Tirupati Railway station) and others to Srinivasam Complex. At Srinivasam Complex Room allotment counter, Madhavam Guest House rooms will be allotted.

        Sir,
        I booked for darshan on 22/1/2014 at 9 PM from special entry , and accommodation booked , but by oversight the time slot was not noticed, and I received accommodation receipt with time of report at 6 pm, request to change slot in the afternoon between 2 pm to 6 pm

      Dear Kiran,

      There is no private accommodation in Tirumala, it is totally managed by T.T.D. If you are planning on weekday, i.e Tue-Wed , rooms will be easily available. Please note that brahmotsavam is starting from 14th oct – 22nd oct so rooms during this period will be tough in Tirumala. Instead you can try fo acommmodation in Tirupati at Srinivasam complex (opp. bus station) and also at Vishnu Nivasam ( Walk able from Railway station).

      I would suggest you to try for rooms at Vishnu Nivasam in Tirupati ( walk able from Railway station) and then at Srinivasam Complex (Opp. Bus station). As 22nd is closing date for Brahmotsavam, so crowd still be there in Tirumala. Rooms at Tirumala will definitely takes more time than expected.

    We(total of 8 members- large family) are coming to tirupathi on 18th December 2015. We want to stay in Tirumala and tried booking rooms online but all rooms got filled up. Will it be possible to get accommodation in Guest/ Rest houses? What about cottages?

      Dear Praveen,

      Only 50% of rooms will be released for online at ttdsevaonline, remaining 50% rooms will be allotted to pilgrims On-Arrival.
      If rooms are not released for online booking, then these rooms will be allotted to Pilgrims On Arrival on those date.

      Rooms in Tirumala are full, only Tirupati Rooms quota not released for online booking.

      On Arrival at Tirupati, please visit Vishnu Nivasam near Railway station, Good thing with Vishnu Nivasam is rooms here are not for online, these rooms are meant for On-Arrival booking. 50% rooms at Srinivasam Complex and Madhavam Guest House will be released for online booking, for dec month they haven’t released for online.

      As you are planning on weekday, rooms will be available with little waiting time at Vishnu Nivasam and Srinivasam complex.
      I will let you know the crowd and rooms availability on 17th Dec.

      Could you check at ttdsevaonline.com if rooms available, if not then rooms in Tirupati will be allotted to Pilgrims On Arrival.

      Only 50% of rooms will be released for online at ttdsevaonline, remaining 50% rooms will be allotted to pilgrims On-Arrival.
      If rooms are not released for online booking, then these rooms will be allotted to Pilgrims On Arrival on those date.

      Rooms in Tirumala are full, only Tirupati Rooms quota not released for online booking.

      On arriving at Tirupati, please visit Vishnu Nivasam, which is 5 mins walk from Tirupati Railway station, where rooms will be allotted On Arrival

      If you are arriving little early in the morning i.e before 9 am, then rooms will be available.

      Another guest house, opposite Tirupati Bus station, Srinivasam complex and Madhavam Guest House, Rooms for both the Guest house were allotted at Srinivasam Room allotment counter only.

      Please let me know the arrival time so that I can let you know the best possible options.

      If you arrive early in the morning, the rooms will be available at Vishnu Nivasam, which is opposite to Tirupati Railway station.
      Rooms at vishnu nivasam and Srinivasam Complex are allotted to pilgrims On Arrival.

      Rooms at Padmavathi Guest House will be allotted for Recommendation letter or under general quota.
      General quota is subjected to availability.

      Online booking is not available for Padmavathi Guest House rooms. For other cottages, please check availability at http://www.ttdsevaonline.com

      If not available online , then rooms at Srinivasam complex (Opp. Tirupati Bus station) or Vishnu Nivasam (Opp. Railway station) will be allotted to pilgrims On Arrival.

      Yes, you can go with Wheel chair till pooja mantap. From the pooja mantap to the entrance is 10 steps only. Pooja will be performed in seating position only, will it be ok ?

      After pooja, you can go for darshan and drop the idols in the Hundi, while your husband can relax at the entrance.

      1) 2 tickets can be booked online using one login ID. your daughter don’t need ticket for this seva as she is below 12 years of age.
      So 3 tickets required in total. For one more ticket, it should be booked using different login ID and different IP address.
      2) Suprabhatha seva tickets will be 5000+ so it can be booked with little patience why bcoz TTD server response might be slow at times.

    We (my parents aged about 75 years, my self, wife and 2 year old daughter) are visiting tirupati on 22nd and 23rd of January 2016. I tried to book a cottage at tirumala online but it is showing no vanancy.

    Please guide me as to how i can get advance booking for accomodation for us as my parents would be arriving earlier in the day and i do not want them to suffer for lack of accomodations.

    Normally how many cottages / rooms are opened for online booking and how many wouldf be available for other visitors?

      If not pre-booked then it is wise to look for accommodation in Tirupati TTD cottages.
      Rooms at Srinivasam Complex (Opp. Tirupati Bus station) and Vishnu Nivasam (Opp. Railway station) will be allotted to pilgrims On Arrival.

      From Tirupati to Tirumala, it takes 40 mins by bus.

      If you still look for rooms at Tirumala, then please visit Padmavathi Guest House Room allotment counter which is 10 – 15 mins walk from Tirumala Bus station.
      Padmavathi Guest House rooms are costly so chance of getting rooms is high here.

      Rooms at TTD may not be available, it should be only at private hotels in Tirupati. There are many hotels in and Tirupati Bus station.

      Crowd will be high on 31st dec, 1st,2nd and 3rd jan.

      Rooms will not be available in Tirumala on 2nd Jan. Crowd will be high and it is hard to find accommodation in Tirumala and Tirupati TTD cottages.

      Accommodation should be only at private hotels at Tirupati.

      Do you mean 6th of march? If so, rooms may not be available as it is weekend and crowd will be high. There are 3 room allotment counters in Tirumala.
      CRO, MBC 34 and SPGH. If it is weekdays, Tue-Wed-Thu rooms will be easily available, Fri-Mon (Evening hours) – room allotment will take 2 hours. If it is weekend Sat and Sun then rooms may not be available.

      If it is one day trip to Tirumala then room may not be required. Please let me know if you need more details.

    Sir, i’ve booked Rs 1300 Ac suite at tirupati vishnu nivasam in the time slot 00-12 hrs and following are my queries
    1) how many persons are allowed to stay in 1300/- room?
    2) what is the process for 1 day extension?
    3) Does the allotment counters are same for all the room categories and if so how long does it takes approximately ?

      1) 6 members can easily accommodate.
      2) Well before checkout you need to visit the same counter for extension
      3) Separate counter is available for internet booking.

      It would be nice to book room using second login ID for the second day. Reason is that if the crowd is high extension is not guaranteed. If you would have checked the terms and conditions in the receipt it is already stated.

      Try to book 2nd room using different person name

    Hi Kamal,

    I have one query. Could you please clarify it?
    I took Kalyanothsavam ticket in online for April 2016. When I filled the form and went for payment, it asked to upload only 1st person photograph and did not ask to upload the second(accompanying) person’s photo. Would that be fine? Please note that Aadhar number for both person’s is recorded. Only 2nd person’s photo was not asked.
    On the print, it shows only 1st person photo.

      One day extension is allowed if crowd is normal during those days. It would good to book day 1 room on your name and day 2 room on your wife name.
      Please create one more login ID and book the room for the second day.

      Only one photo is required. No need for both.

      It will be 150 rooms of Rs.750 and 132 rooms of Rs.1000. Sometimes it will exceed. TTD usually releases additional rooms.

      Yes, it will work. As of Today, crowd is little high. Please choose any weekday for Darshan and accommodation. So you will not face any delay in the room allotment. You need to submit the letter at any of the receptions and carry the sealed receipt to Padmavathi Guest House room allotment counter. Room will be allotted on providing the slip.

      For Hair offering, Rambagicha Guest House (near main temple) or Sri Padmavathi Guesthouse will be the right option so that crowd will be minimal here.
      Special attention will be there in terms of Darshan but crowd will be high even for Divya Darshan ticket holders (those who reach tirumala by walk). Darshan will be 4 – 5 hours .

      Let say, you have booked room for the slot 12:00 – 23:59, you are allowed to check-in anytime between 12 pm and 11:59 pm on the same day. It is 24 hours rule, which means you can checkout after 24 hours from the time of check-in.

    I am coming to tirupati along with my wife and son (25 years) and daughter 20 yrs on 07th july (tomorrow) evening 6.00 pm.. No advance booking or anything. A sudden trip. planning to stay at tirupati after visiting padmavati and Lord Govindajaperumal by staying at tirupati and leaving tirupati at 4.00 am to srinivasamangapuram…..morning darshan at temple and around 6.00 am planning to take srivaarimettu route to tirumala and after darshan returning sameday (8th july Friday) and catching early morning 2.30 train to my place. Sir, my queries are
    1. Where can I get rooms for night stay at tirupati (budget around 300/-) where to approach for this?

    2. What mode of transport can I opt for Tirupathi to srinivasamangapuram temple before 4.45? if its auto or taxi….(pls mention approx fare)….or apsrtc bus available at that time…..where to board?

    3.can I get room at tirumala to take rest after darshan….where to approach….(budget 400/-)

    4. A safe place to stay or wait till 2.00 am with family if we return to tirupati by 8.00 pm?

      Yes, it is 24 hours counter.After getting down at Tirumala Bus station, visit CRO Office which is right opp to Bus station. There is a separate counte available for internet bookings, where room will be allotted on showing receipt

          Dear Sir,
          For Tirupati accommodation ,if you booked room at Madhavam or Srinivasam complex then it is located right opposite to Tirupati bus station. Vishnu Nivasam is located right opposite to Tirupati Railway station. Allotment counter opens for 24 hours.
          For Tirumala rooms, allotment will be done at CRO office located right opposite to Tirumala bus station. Tirumala is the place where the main temple is located. It takes 40 mins to reach Tirumala from Tirupati bus station.
          Bus frequency is quite high from Tirupati bus station to Tirumala so you can check-in at Tirupati first, after getting fresh up you can start to Tirumala.

      Yes, you can get rooms at Srinivasam complex easily as it is a weekday. Room will be allotted under current booking. No special contact number required for this allotment.

      Sevas will not be performed during Dhanur Masam so there will not be any Sevas during this time.

    Hi, I am visiting Tirumala with 9 months old baby, on 21st Jan 2016 and would like to have Darshan on 22nd Jan 2016. But the rooms shows as booked and seems would need to get for current booking. But as per my experience, it is really impossible to stand in queues for hours to get a room by keeping my family with baby outside. Can you please suggest if there is any other way of getting the accomodation for 21st night to 22nd Jan night.

    I was looking at the accomodation list. What do you mean by recommendation letter. Looks like some accomodation is not available to general public and only for people who have recommendation. I am sure Lord Venkatesha does not discriminate – why do officials discriminate in Tirumala?

      Sir, Room allotment counter close by 10 pm. Room allotment might take sir as it is weekend and room checkout will be minimal in the evening hours.
