Tamil Wedding Procedure in Tirumala, Online Booking, Cost and Planning
Hall Capacity: 20 to 200 members.
Hall Timings: 3:00 pm to 3:00 pm
Please note that Devasthanam Halls are not available for online booking. One must visit in person to book the hall. Bride parents an Groom parents must be available for the hall booking. Rooms and Marriage halls will be allotted at 3:00 pm only. Early allotment is not available. The marriage party can bring their Purohit if required. Photography and Video shooting is not allowed during the marriage.
No marriages are allowed inside the temple. Marriages halls are available outside the temple i.e.. behind Thiru Mada streets.
Tamil Wedding Procedure in Tirumala
- The Bride must be 18 years and above.
- The Groom must be 21 years and above.
- The Bride and Groom have to submit their Aadhar Cards and 10th mark sheet or SSLC Mark sheet Photocopies
- Bride parents and Groom parents have to submit their Aadhar Cards Photocopies.
- Only Hindu arranged marriages are allowed in Tirumala.
- Love marriages without parents acceptance will be denied in Tirumala Tirupati Marriage Halls.
- NRIs have to submit their Passport Front and back photocopies for Age and Address proof.
- The Bride parents and Groom parents must be available for the marriage hall booking.
- Simple and Grand marriages can be performed in Tirumala marriage halls.
- Some devotees prefer only Mangalyadharana (Thalikettu or Thirumangalyam) in Tirumala.
- Procedure is same for simple or Grand wedding in Tirumala. Documents have to submitted well in advance.
- Hall booking opens on 90th day from the date of marriage. Maximum one week advance booking is allowed for the hall if available.
- One can book one hall max for 1 day on submitting valid documents. Hall extension may not be possible.
- Hall Booking includes Hall and Two Rooms.
- Tamil devotees usually ask for Thirumangalyam inside temple i.e. Sannadhi Marriage but it is not allowed in Tirumala.

Darshan after Marriage
- For Devasthanam Halls, Darshan is available for 6 members which includes Newlywed couple.
- A receipt will be issued after marriage which can be used for the registration.
- The devotees can book Darshan tickets separately if required based on their marriage timings.
- The newlywed couple can have Darshan in the wedding dress itself.
Marriage Registration procedure in Tirumala
Marriage registration office is available in Tirumala. The certificate issued at this office is valid across the country. No other registration required after receiving this certificate.
- The bride and Groom’s Aadhar Cards, 10th mark sheet or Passport photocopies required.
- Bride parents and Groom parents Photo ID proofs photocopies.
- Three witnesses along with their Aadhar Cards photocopies.
