Required documents for Hall/ Kalyanavedika Marriage

  • Bride and Groom’s Aadhar Cards or Passport (For NRIs) and 10th Mark Sheet or SSLC or PUC Mark Sheet Photocopies
  • Bride parents and Groom parents Aadhar Cards Photocopies
  • Unmarried Certificate from Bride and Groom. Usually this certificate will be issued by VAO/ VRO/ Grama Sachivalayam

What is included in the Hall/ Kalyanavedika Marriage?

1 Marriage Hall, 2 rooms and 6 members Darshan if it is Marriage Hall. For Kalyanavedika, it is one Rs.50 room, 6 members Darshan and Purohit will be allotted by the Devasthanam. Kalyanavedika ritual runs for 30 to 45 mins. Whereas Marriage Hall will be allotted for 24 hours. Marriage Hall booking opens on 90th day from the date of marriage. Minimum 1 week advance booking required. No booking is allowed within a week.

Hall Capacity: 15 to 30 members.

Kannada Marriage in Tirumala

Those who are planning marriage with 100+ guests can book marriage halls with higher capacity. Big size halls capacity varies from 50 to 300 members. Please note that all Halls located in Tirumala are Non-Ac only.

Big Size halls booking procedure

Bride and Groom’s Aadhar Cards and 10th Mark sheet photocopies. Bride parents and Groom parents Aadhar Card required. One can book 2 to 30 rooms depending on the hall size. Please note that only Hindu arranged marriages are allowed in these function halls. Love marriages without parents acceptance are not allowed.

Only empty hall will be allotted at the time of allotment day. Other decorations such flower, mandapam and lighting can be planned on their own.

Darshan is not included in the big Size hall bookings. It has to be booked separately by login to Devasthanam website. Married couple are allowed to have Darshan in the wedding dress itself. These halls located at a distance of 0.5 to 1.3 Km from the temple.

Photography and Video Shooting permission

Photography and Video shooting is allowed in Tirumala. High resolution cameras and Video cams are not allowed due to security reasons. Drones are not allowed on top of hill. Outdoor shooting is not allowed as it is Dharmic institution. Pre-wedding Shoot is not allowed in Tirumala.

Marriage Registration procedure

  • Bride and Groom’s Aadhar Cards/ Passport and 10th/ SSLC/ PUC Mark sheet photocopies
  • Bride parents and Groom parents Aadhar Cards Photocopies
  • Wedding Invitation Card
  • Marriage Photos
  • Three Witnesses along with their Aadhar Cards Photocopies
  • A receipt from the marriage Hall authorities.

The receipt issued by the Registration Office in Tirumala is a valid Government certificate so no other registration required for the marriage again.
