Sri Kanipakam Unjal Seva is a Daily Seva.

Unjal Seva Timings : 6:30 pm – 7:30 pm

Seva Ticket Cost: Rs. 250

No.of persons allowed on a ticket:  1

Bahumanam (Prasadam) Offered: Shesha Vastram, 1 blouse piece ( jacket piece), 2 Laddus, 2 Vada

Kanipakam Unjal Seva

During Unjal Seva, Utsava Idols will go on a procession within temple premises, where devotees can be carry the palanquin ( Wodden chamber to carry Utsava idolson) their shoulders.  It goes around the temple, later Utsava idols were laid in the craddle. Devotees given opportunity to swing the cradle to make Lord to sleep.

Dress code: Traditional wear for Men and Women.

How to reach Kanipakam Temple from Tirupati?

1. Tirumala Buses (Sapthagiri bus) is available from Tirupati to Kanipakam Temple. It is 1 hour 30 mins by bus.
2. Kanipakam is at a distance of 10 km from Chittoor Bus station.
3. Bus frequency is high from Tirupati to Chittoor, either you can get down at Kanipakam Village entrance, on the highway or you can reach Chittoor then to Kanipakam.
4. Trains to Chittoor available from Tirupati Railway station.
