Basara Vasantha Panchami 2022 Date, Procedure and Timings

1. Aksharabhyasam will be performed for the group of devotees.
2. The priest will be chanting the Mantras and guide the devotees on the Aksharabhyasam process.
3. Whether it is Rs.100 or Rs.1000 ticket, the Pooja is performed for the group.
4. Only difference is with the Group size and Mantap location.
5. The priest starts the Pooja with Ganapathi Pooja and writes the letters on the Slate.
6. It is the Father now to hold the child’s hand and rewrites the letters on the slate pencil for thrice.
7. The devotees can have Darshan after Aksharabhyasam.
8. Even, child at 10 years can perform Aksharabhyasam as there is no age limit for this Pooja.

• The priest will be running thru the Pooja process.
• Slate is to be placed on the floor
• Pour rice on the slate
• Place the slate pencil on the four sides of the slate.
• The priest keeps chanting the Mantras during the Pooja process.
• The devotees will now pour kumkum and then turmeric.
• In the end, the priest will place the child on the lap and hold the child’s hand to write the letters.
• Now, the devotees can have Darshan.
