Pitru Dosha Parihara in Gokarna is performed daily. The puja duration is 3 hours. An elder from the family should perform this puja. Even relatives can perform this puja on your behalf.   • For gentlemen, the dress code includes a white dhoti and either a shirt or a kurta paired with pajamas.
  • Ladies: saree or salwar kameez.
  • Regardless of age group, we kindly request that all devotees refrain from wearing clothing such as T-shirts and jeans.

Puja Instructions To Devotees

  1. One should refrain from consuming non-vegetarian food for three days before the puja.
  2. A woman can perform this puja after the fifth day of her menstrual cycle.
  3. If there is a death in the family, you can perform this puja after three months.
  4. A Brahman can perform this puja on your behalf.
