Banquet Halls in Tirumala Cost and Booking Procedure

Banquet Halls are available in Tirumala for simple and grand weddings. Wedding halls are of different sizes in Tirumala, it can accommodate 30 to 600 guests for the wedding. Simple and grand weddings can be performed in Tirumala. A minimum of 3 to 4 months of reservation is advisable, as halls are limited. Rooms are located right at the function hall. The wedding party can book the required number of rooms for the wedding. It is advisable to book rooms while booking the Kalyana Mandapam. One person can book the banquet hall on behalf of the wedding party. A banquet hall can be booked for two days if required. Rooms can be booked for two days along with the banquet hall. A maximum of 50 rooms can be booked for the wedding in a day.

In Tirumala, weddings are not performed in the temple premises. Marriage should be performed at the designated places. Kalyana Mandapam is located at a close distance from the main temple. Parking spaces for 20 to 50 vehicles are available at banquet halls. A separate dining space is available at the banquet hall. There are new and old banquet halls in Tirumala for budget marriages. Wedding package costs vary with the hall type, room type, decoration, and food. All required wedding services were available at the Kalyana Mandapam. All banquet halls in Tirumala are allotted following the standard allotment timings, i.e., 3 p.m. to 3 p.m. the next day. Rooms will be allotted following the same allotment timings. Some banquet halls allot rooms from 8 a.m. to 8 a.m. the next day. Room extension is subject to availability. Newly built banquet halls do have elevator facilities that connect the dining hall, rooms, and Kalyana mandapam.

Instructions to Wedding Party

  1. The use of DJ music or loud music is prohibited.
  2. Weddings should be performed following Hindu rituals.
  3. Processions outside the mandapam are prohibited.
  4. Usage of liquor, non-vegetarian foods, and tobacco is prohibited in Tirumala.
  5. Photo shoots and video shoots in and around temple premises are prohibited.
  6. Usage of drone cameras is not allowed in Tirumala.
  7. The wedding party should maintain the peace and sanctity of the Tirumala.
  8. Lighting displays outside the mandapam is not allowed.
  9. Trust will have all the rights to cancel the wedding if the furnished information is not correct.

Banquet Halls in Tirumala Booking Procedure

  • The bride and bridegroom have to submit their Aadhar card photocopies.
  • For NRIs, passport photocopies are required.
  • The bride’s parents and groom’s parents have to submit their Aadhar card photocopies.
  • The bride and bridegroom should be majors.
  • Both the bride’s and bridegroom’s families should be Hindus.
  • Parents from both sides have to provide consent for the wedding.
  • Guardians can perform the wedding if parents are not alive.
  • Love marriages without parents’ presence will not be performed.
  • Inter-caste marriages are allowed in Tirumala
  • Interreligious marriages will not be performed.
  • If the age is not properly mentioned on Aadhar cards, secondary proof of age may be required.

Marriage Registration Procedure in Tirumala

  1. The newlywed couple gets their marriage certificate right after the wedding.
  2. The marriage registration office is located at Kalyana Vedika in Tirumala.
  3. The marriage registration operates on all days except Tuesdays.
  4. The newlywed couple has to submit their Aadhar card photocopies.
  5. Three witnesses have to provide their Aadhar card photocopies.
  6. A wedding invitation card.
  7. Three wedding photos have to be submitted for the registration.
  8. The newlywed couple has to submit the receipt issued by the hall manager.
  9. The newlywed couple can collect the marriage certificate before leaving Tirumala.
