Pitru dosha Pooja Timings in Gokarna
The ritual is a one-day puja, which will last for 4 hours. There are puja slots available for the ritual. On normal days, the puja starts at 9.00 a.m. On an Amavasya day, this puja starts at 5 a.m., and the batch continues till 11.30 a.m. This puja will be performed individually. This dosha nivarana puja does not involve samuhika, or group puja. One can join this puja after having the Gokarna Mahableswar Temple darshan. During weekends and on auspicious days, it usually takes 1 to 2 hours for darshan.
One should take a head bath before and after the puja. One can perform this puja individually. There is no requirement for additional family members to participate in this puja.
