Tirupati Rathasapthami Date and Timings: 3rd Feb

Rathasapthami also called Surya Jayanthi, Birth of Sun God. Lord Malayappa will be taken out on different Vahanams for the whole day. Rathasapthami starts with Surya Prabha Vahanam at the early hours and ends with Sarva Bhoopala Vahanam in the evening hours.

Supadam Darshan and Senior Citizens Darshan may not be available on this special day. Arjitha Sevas may not be performed in connection with Rathasapthami. It is going to be Special and Sarva Darshan for the devotees. The crowd will be a little high on this special day.

  1. Crowd for the darshan used to be less on this day as per my experience, because most of the people stay in mada streets all the day to have Lord malayappa swamy darshan. Great day, events happen all the day from morning to night. Thank you.
