Non-resident Indians (NRIs) who want to see Lord Venkateswara can purchase Special Entry Darshan tickets at Tirumala for Rs. 300. Only at Tirumala does TTD provide darshan tickets; booking is not available for NRI darshan. For this category, arrival in India should take no more than thirty days. The ability to purchase a ticket at the counter for Rs. 300 will be issued upon document verification. By producing both their valid passport and their OCI card, NRIs with OCI cards are also eligible for this service.

Dress code for NRI Darshan in Tirumala

  • Gents: dhoti (white) and shirt, or kurta and pyjama.
  • Ladies: Saree or Salwar Kameez (with Pallu Compulsory).
  • All pilgrims are requested not to wear clothes such as T-shirts, jeans, etc., as the same is strictly prohibited irrespective of any age group.

NRI Darshan Timings in Tirumala

  • Darshan Timings: 12 p.m to 7 p.m.
  • Reporting place: Special Entry Darshan Line, ATC Car Parking, Tirumala.
  • Ticket cost: Rs. 300 per person
  • The ticket is mandatory for children 12 and older.
  • Children under 12 years old are permitted with parents free of charge.

Tirupati Darshan Booking Procedure for NRI

  • NRI pilgrims must first report to the Special Entry Darshan Hall, near ATC Car Parking.
  • A form containing personal and visa information must be completed at the counter.
  • The TTD officer should receive the properly completed form, the original passport, and a photocopy of the passport (along with the visa).
  • The TTD official gives his clearance after verification.
  • You will subsequently be permitted entry inside the Vaikuntam Q complex, where you will need to buy a Special Entry Darshan ticket.
  • For Darshans through Special Entry for Non-Resident Indians, there is no daily limitation.
  • This Darshan ticket is not applicable for Srivari Laddu Prasadam. Laddus must be bought individually at the Laddu counters.
  • NRIs may obtain Darshan through Special Entry in the first 30 days of their arrival.

Required ID proofs for NRI Darshan

  • An original passport can be an Indian passport or a foreign passport.
  • Photocopy of passport along with visa and immigration details.
  • For confirmation of their NRI status, NRIs must possess a valid passport, employment or resident visa, and government-issued identification.
