SHRAMAPARIHAROTSAVAM

“SHRAMAPARIHAROTSAVAM” OBSERVED AT TIRUCHANOOR AS “VANABHOJANAM”

TIRUCHANOOR, DEC 6:  The temple administration of Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams celebrated “Shramapariharotsavam” in Tiruchanoor on Saturday as “Karthika Vanbhojanotsavam” over the success of the recently completed religious fete of Sri Padmavathi Ammavari Brahmotsavams.

Tirupati JEO Sri P Bhaskar who graced the occasion at the Chief Guest, complimented the TTD work force for their team effort in carrying out the nine-day fete with aplomb in a grand manner. “Almost all the 50 odd departments of TTD joined their hands and worked day and night for the festival to make it on par with Tirumala brahmotsavams. I compliment every department especially the sanitary department for their tremendous commitment in carrying out their task in a successful manner for which even the Governor of AP Sri ESL Narasimhan complimented”, the JEO said.

Adding further, the JEO said, “Never seen before, this year, the annual brahmotsavams of Goddess Padmavathi Ammavaru witnessed huge pilgrim turn out especially for Gaja vahanam, Garuda Vahanam and Panchami Teertham. However, the arrangements by TTD vigilance, police and panchayat of Tiruchanoor is excellent and the event went off peacefully without any minor incident. All the departments, the Engineering, Annaprasadam, Health, Garden, Electricity, PR, SVBC, Medical, HDPP, services, temple, arjitham, prasdams etc. have done a good job. There may be some drawbacks during this fete which should be rectified by next year. We thank the media for their wide coverage”, he added.

Earlier many officials expressed their experience during this fete. While Tirumala Bokkasam In-charge Sri Guru Raja Swamy came out with a novel idea to donate a jewel for the Goddess on behalf of the strong work force of TTD. “Some eight years ago, our employees have donated a jewel to Lord Venkateswara. Similarly we can think of donating jewel exclusively to Goddess also”, he suggested.
