Appalayagunta, 7 June 2015: Temple Priests performed Chakrasnanam to the processional deity of Lord Prasanna Venkateswara Swamy along with His consorts and Chakrathalwar on Concluding day of Nine-day Annual Brahmotsavam in Sri Prasanna Venkateswara Swamy Temple at Appalayagunta about 20kms from Tirupati on Sunday morning.
Later, the temple priests immersed the idol of Lord Chakra in the sacred tank, plunged into the holy waters.
Tirupati JEO Sri Pola Bhaskar, Spl Gr DyEO Smt Chenchu Lakshmi, AEO Sri Nagarathna, Suptd Sri Pavan Kumar, Temple Staff adnd devotees took part.
Darshan timings vary during Brahmotsavam days. Arjitha Sevas will not be performed. No ticket required to watch the deity.
The direct bus is available from Tirupati bus station to Appalyagunta. Bus available every 1 hour. It takes 30 -45 mins from Tirupati bus station to the temple.
