Pedda Sesha Vahana Seva
Thousands of devotees witnessed the procession of Pedda Sesha Vahana Seva organized on the first day of the on-going nine-day annual Navaratri Brahmotsavams of Lord Venkateswara at Tirumala on Wednesday Evening.
Lord flanked by his two divine consorts SriDevi and BhooDevi and takes a pleasure ride on the mighty seven-hooded serpent, the tastefully decorated golden Pedda Sesha Vahanam. The Seven hoods represents the seven hills of Lord Venkateswara.
It is believed that it is on the mighty Adisesha that the Lord reclines at his heavenly abode in the Milky Way.
It is an appreciation of his services that the Lord bestowed him the honor of being his first Vahanam during this festival.
