Pandav Caves Pachmarhi
As per the Legend, Pandava brothers stayed here for sometime after their exile from the Kingdom. The biggest cave is said to be of Bhima. Each of these caves was named after the Pandava brothers.
As per ASI, that the cave paintings date back to Gupta period during 9 – 10th Century AD. Buddhist monks made these monks as their living place during this time. Even stupa laid during the same period.
These caves are under the maintenance of the Archaeological Survey of India. The beautiful garden was created at the cave’s entrance.

- The nearest railway station is at Pipariya which is 47 Km away.

- The direct bus is not available to these hills.
