The Narayana Bali pooja in Srirangapatna is performed every day. It lasts 4–5 hours, removes pitru dosha, and pacifies the departed souls. If there is any unnatural death in the family, then the departed soul will roam on this earth, thus causing pain and agony for the family members. It is advisable to perform rituals properly.
