Reasons for Sarpa Dosha

• People think that Rahu, Kethu, Mars, Saturn, and the Sun are all evil planets because they are in three Kendra Sthanas (1, 4, 7, and 10), and Rahu is in the Lagna, the 2nd, the 5th, the 7th, or the 8th house.

Idol specification for Naga Pratishta Pooja

• The idols selected shouldn’t be taller than the temple’s main deity in the sanctum sanctorum.
• The statues selected should not depict mating snakes but rather a pair of snakes facing the devotees with their hoods facing them.
• Usually, an idol will be between 1 and 1.25 feet tall

Pooja Dress Code

• Gents: dhoti (white) and shirt or kurta and pyjama.
• Ladies: Saree or Salwar Kameez (with Pallu Compulsory).
• All devotees are requested not to wear clothes such as T-shirts, jeans, etc., as the same is strictly prohibited, irrespective of any age group.
