Online booking or Advance booking is not available, tickets will be issued only at the counter. Ticket Costs Rs.200 per child.

Should be 2 and above to perform this event.

Dress Code

Men Should Wear a white dhoti, Upper Cloth or shirt.

Female: Saree with blouse; Punjabi Dress with Dupatta; Chudidhar with dupatta; Half saree

As this pooja is performed outside the main temple, the dress code is not applicable. However, devotees will go for Goddess Mookambika Darshan after this Pooja so following the dress code will make things easier.

Mookambika Temple Vidyarambham Procedure and Timings

One should reach Kollur a day in advance so that you can start a little early on this day. Temple will be crowded on special days. Vidyarambham will be performed in Saraswati Mantap outside the main temple. A ticket should be purchased from the counter. On special days queue line will be a little long for this event. The Pundit will be performing this event to a group 8 – 10 families in one stretch.
