This lake was built during the reign of Kakatiya dynasty in 13th Century. This lake is surrounded by 13 hills and stretches over an area of 2500 acres.

Lake Depth: 34.4 ft. Width: 20 Km

Best Time to visit: Nov-May.

This lake will be fed by the flood water from Kothagudem and Warangal.

Hanging Bride is the major attraction here, which was built 2006. Tourists can walk on this Bride which is built across the lake.
