Jal Mahal Jaipur History, Timings, Entry, Route info
This Mahal was built by Maharaja Madho Singh I in 1750 AD. Jal Mahal stands amidst the Man Sagar Lake. Jal Mahal means Water Palace, as it is located in the mid of the Lake. This palace was built to duck hunting during their leisure time. This Mahal architecture reflects the Hindu and Mughal construction style. Entry is restricted to Jal Mahal as it was declared as the protection site. Earlier visitors are allowed inside the Mahal who reach this palace by Boat. But now it is not available.
