Gokarna Moksha Narayana Bali Pooja costs Rs.14500 to Rs.15000 (inclusive of Lunch and Non-Ac room for 2 members near the Temple). This price might change on special days.

Gokarna Moksha Narayana Bali Procedure

Moksha Narayan Bali Puja is performed to get rid of Pitru Dosha. Pitru Dosha Nivaran, Trippindi Shraddh and Thila Homa will be performed during this time. A male devotee can perform this Puja by wearing Dhoti and Shirt. A Brahman will perform the Puja on behalf of a Woman. One cannot perform this Puja if his/ her father is alive.

Moksha Narayan Bali Puja Dress Code

A male devotee wears Dhoti and Shirt. A female devotee is allowed to watch the Puja rituals. Saree/ Chudidhar with Dupatta/ Half Saree for Female devotees.

Step-by-Step Procedure for Moksha Narayan Bali Puja

1. He/ She should take a head bath
2. New Clothes or Used clothes are allowed
3. Sri Mahabaleswara Swamy Darshan
4. Moksha Narayan Bali Puja (Pitru Dosh Nivarana Puja, Trippindi Shradh, and Thila Homa)
5. A headbath after the Puja
6. Please leave your clothes and wear another set of clothes.

When to Perform Moksha Narayan Bali Puja at Gokarna?

1. Ladies can participate after the 8th day of their menstrual cycle
2. One must stop taking Non-Veg 3 days before the puja.
3. From the 4th month after performing all rituals for the deceased person.

Instructions to follow after Gokarna Moksha Narayan Bali Puja

1. For a week, no non-vegetarian or alcoholic beverages.
2. Not to have food at any parties or hotel
3. Consume only Veg food prepared at the food during this time.
4. Not to visit any temple for another week

When to perform Moskha Narayan Bali Pooja?

1. If there is any unnatural death in the family
2. A person died out of an accident/ Fire/ Snake Bite/ Jumping out of a building/ Suicide/ Consuming Poison/ Illhealth/ Murder/Drowning in the water etc
3. A person who died before 55 years of age will be considered unnatural death.
4. Any unnatural death in the family for the past 3 generations on the mother’s side or the past 7 generations on the father’s side.
