Pooja duration: 3 – 4 hours. This Pooja will be performed in a day.

6 priests will be performing this Pooja in a Mantap (outside the temple).

This Pooja will be performed only on Ashlesha Nakshatra day. Advance booking is required for this special Pooja.

Dress code: Please wear
Men: White Pancha, Dhoti/ Kurta, Pyjama.
Female: Saree with blouse/ Punjabi Dress with Dupatta / Chudidhar with Dupatta/ Half saree.

Gokarna Ashlesha Bali Pooja

This Sarpa Shanti will be performed to pacify 48 Naga races. During this Pooja, Serpent Image will be drawn and Pindas will be offered to 48 Naga races. The devotee whoever planning to perform this Pooja have to take the head bath and cook the rice by pouring turmeric powder. The devotee has to prepare 48 Pindas. Yagna, Tharpana and Bali Nivedana have to be performed. Silver Serpent idol to be placed at Bali Nivedana. Later, Pindas to be offered at Balipeetam. Pindas will be prepared by the priest itself.
