As per the Legend, Sage Galav ji did penance here on this hill for 100 years. Please Lord blessed this place with abundant water. This temple was built by Diwan Rao Kriparam the then courtier of Raja Sawai Jai Singh II. This temple is dedicated to Lord Krishna, Hanuman and Sun God.

This temple was built with pink sandstone on top of the hill. This temple is was built in the 18th century.

Three Kund’s are available in this Shrine which are Galta Kund, Gomukh which was originating from rock curve and Janana Kund.

It is believed that Ganga Ji water comes out of the Gomukh continously.

It is believed that taking a holy dip in Galta Kund relieves one from the Sins.

This temple will be thronged with devotees on Karthika Purnima day.
