Our Sanskriti & Gyan Temples Pooja, Darshan, and Timings Dwi Kalatra Dosha in Srirangapatna is performed daily. The puja takes about 2-3 hours. Anyone can perform this puja regardless of their age. This puja should be performed before the marriage. Dwi Kalatra might cause differences between the couple. Two to three priests will perform this ritual. An astrologer can let you know the severity. Dwi Kalatra might cause separation between the couple. One should have this dosha rectified before the wedding. The puja starts at 8 a.m. It is advisable to perform this puja on Tuesdays. During this ritual, we perform Kadali Vivaha for males and Kumbha Vivaha for females.
We offer online puja services for those unable to attend. The puja will be livestreamed through the video call. Parents’ presence is not mandatory for this puja. A male should bring a sari with a blouse piece along with two garlands. A woman should bring two garlands, an upper garment, and a dhoti. Kuja Shanti Homam will be performed during this ritual. One should take a head bath before and after the puja. It is advisable to fast while performing this ritual. During this ritual, Vishnu will be invoked. The girl will get married to a pot. A boy will get married to a banana tree.

Instructions to be followed
- Women can participate in this puja after the fifth day of their menstrual cycle.
- If there is any death in the family, one should perform the puja after 3 months.
- One should stop consuming non-veg and alcohol for another 11 days after the puja.
- Three days before the puja, one should abstain from alcohol and non-vegetarian foods.
Dwi Kalatra Dosha in Srirangapatna
Kadali vivaha will be performed with a live banana tree. After the ritual, the banana tree will be chopped and thrown into the flowing water. In Kumbha Vivaha, the girl will marry Vishnu. We will supply the puja articles for this ritual. The dress used for the ritual must be thrown away after it is finished. We don’t suggest an auspicious day for this ritual. We don’t perform group pujas or samuhika pujas. The puja is performed for you alone. We speak Kannada and English. The puja mantras will be chanted in Sanskrit. During this ritual, we perform Ganapathi puja, Navagraha Mandapa Aradhana, and Kuja Shanti Homa. A widower can also perform this puja. Those who are planning a second marriage can also perform this puja.
