There are four Caves which dates back to Eastern Chalukyas.

Cave 1, dedicated to Lord Siva and is of medium size, Circa 550 AD. One can find the carvings of Mahisasura Mardhini, Karthikeya and Ganesh. This cave is of L-shape

Cave 2, dedicated to Lord Vishnu and is smallest of all.

Cave 3, dedicated to Lord Siva and is the biggest among all. From the inscriptions, it is known that the Carvings refers to 578 AD  during the reign of King Mangalesa.

Cave 4, Dedicated to Jains. Carvings for Mahaveer

  1. The nearest railway station is at Badami (BDM) and Hubali (UBL)
