<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Marriage enrollment charges vary from temple to temple. Only Hindu-arranged marriages are allowed at the temples in Chennai. There are no limits on the guest&#8217;s entry for now.</p>



<h2 class="wp-block-heading">Temple Marriage in Chennai Procedure</h2>



<ol class="wp-block-list">
<li>The bride should be 18 years of age or above.</li>



<li>The groom should be 21 years of age or above.</li>



<li>Both the Bride and the Groom should necessarily be Hindus</li>



<li>A marriage registration form can be collected by submitting an Aadhar Card photocopy from the temple office by the groom or bride, or by the groom&#8217;s or bride&#8217;s parents.</li>



<li>One must submit a community certificate, an unmarried certificate, a school mark list or TC photocopy, and an Aadhar Card photocopy for enrollment.</li>



<li>Anyone (the bride, groom, bride&#8217;s parent, or groom&#8217;s parent) can submit the duly filled-out form.</li>



<li>Registration opens on the 90th day, and enrollment begins on the 30th day since the date of marriage.</li>



<li>A receipt will be issued after the marriage, stating the marriage details</li>



<li>The registration process will only require payment for marriage permission.</li>

<h3>Surutapalli Temple Abhishekam Procedure</h3>

<li>The devotees are allowed to sit on the floor inside the temple</li>
<li>The Priest will recite Rudra Mantra followed by Abhishekam to Sri Valmikeswara Swamy with Milk, Water and Water from the Kalasa.</li>
<li>The priest will sprinkle the Abhishekam water on the devotees.</li>
<li>Markathambiga Abhishekam will be performed with Milk and Water</li>
<li>Later, devotees are allowed to wait outside as Alankarana will be performed to the deities</li>
<li>The devotees are allowed to watch Sri Valmikeswara Swamy and Markathambigai Alankarana Darshan</li>
<li>Harathi followed by Pancha Harathi will be offered to the devotees</li>
<li>Later, the devotees can leave the temple after collecting the Garlands, Coconut and Prasadam.</li>

<li>For Marriages at Kalyana Vedika, Devasthanam will allot one Rs.50 room Free of cost for 24 hours.</li>
<li>For Marriages at SMC, two rooms will be allotted for 24 hours ie from 3.00 pm to 3.00 pm.</li>
<li>For Marriages at Mutt Halls, there is no limit on the room bookings. One can avail of a maximum of 30 rooms for marriage booking.</li>

<p>Hall Allotment Timings: 3.00 pm to 3.00 pm (Standard timings)</p>

<p>Hall capacity varies from 50 members to 500 members.</p>
<p>A maximum of 25 to 30 rooms can be booked while booking the trust hall.</p>
<h2>Tirupati Marriage Booking Procedure</h2>
<ol>
<li>The Bride must be 18 years and above</li>
<li>The Groom must be 21 years and above</li>
<li>Only Hindu arranged marriages are allowed at Tirumala</li>
<li>A minimum of 90 days of advance booking is required for the Tirumala marriage.</li>
<li>Bride parents and Groom parents must be available for hall booking</li>
<li>Bride and Groom&#8217;s Aadhar Cards Photocopies are required</li>
<li>Bride and Groom&#8217;s 10th Mark sheet/ Date of Birth certificate/ PAN Card/ Passport/ Driving License photocopies are required</li>
<li>Bride parents and Groom parent&#8217;s Aadhar Cards photocopies are required</li>
<li>If the parent is not alive, a death certificate can be produced for the booking</li>
<li>The bride and Groom&#8217;s Unmarried certificate is needed for the hall booking</li>
<li>The unmarried certificate must be signed and sealed by the MRO/ Thasildhar</li>
<li>The online portal is available for Tamil Nadu devotees. The online portal is tnesevai. tn. gov. in</li>
<li>For all other states, unmarried certificated can be availed from the MRO</li>
<li>A receipt will be issued by the hall in charge, which can be used for the marriage registration</li>
</ol>
<h3>Tirumala Kalyana Vedika Booking</h3>
<ol>
<li>Online booking portal is available for Simple marriage at Purohit Sangam Tirumala</li>
<li>The Bride and Bridegroom must be Hindu</li>
<li>The bride must be 18 years and above.</li>
<li>The Groom must be 21 years and above.</li>
<li>10th mark sheet/ Birth Certificate/ PAN Card/ Driving License/ Passport must be produced by the Bride and Groom to the TTD authorities for the verification</li>
<li>Aadhar Card/ Residential proof certificate from Thasildhar/ MRO must be produced for the verification</li>
<li>Parents from Both sides must be available for the wedding.</li>
<li>If the Parent is not alive, other parent can participate tend the wedding with Aadhar Card and the expired parent&#8217;s death certificate.</li>
<li>An unmarried certificate must be obtained from the MRO/ Thasildhar</li>
<li>Depending on the demand on Muhurtham day, it can be performed in groups.</li>
<li>The <a href="https://gotirupati.com/newly-married-couples-tirupati-darshan/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">newlywed couples </a>along with parents or Guardians can avail of Special Entry Darshan. 6 members in total can have Darshan.</li>
<li>An Rs.50 room will be provided free of cost for 24 hours.</li>
<li>A receipt will be issued after marriage which can be used for the marriage registration.</li>
