Auspicious dates for Annaprasana in 2021 and 2022, Choroonu Muhurtham Date and Timings

Pooja Duration: 15 to 20 mins.

Ticket cost: Rs.116 onwards

Pooja materials cost: Rs.200 to Rs.500 per child.

Pooja materials includes Coconut- 1, Turmeric, Kumkum, Flowers, 1 Kg Rice

Annaprasana Prasadam will be provided by the temple priest itself. First Pooja will be performed for the Ganesh followed by Annaprasana. Usually, the Maternal uncle will hold the child in his lap and dip the Gold ring in the Prasadam and put it in the child’s mouth thrice (in small quantity). In the case of the uncle’s absence, the Child father will be performing the Pooja rituals. Pooja will be performed for the group of devotees at once and might take 15 to 20 mins. The devotees will break the coconut outside the temple after Darshan.
