On the occassion of Vaikunta Dwadasi on 22nd Dec, Chakrasanam will be performed to Sri Sudarsana Chakrathalwar. This occassion is also called as Swamy Pushkarini Theertha mukkoti.

Chakrasnanam Date and Timings: 22n Dec , 4:30 am – 5:30 am

After rendering a holy bath with sandalwood paste, honey, milk, curd, coconut and turmeric, the ‘Sudarshana Chakrattalwar’ will be carried by the temple priests amid the chanting of Vedic hymns and a holy dip in the temple tank will take in the auspicious hours. Pilgrims can also take a holy dip in the tank.

Whoever takes a holy dip in the Pushkarini along with Chakrathalwar , will get the merit of having taken holy bath in 66 crore theerthams.
