Our Sanskriti & Gyan Temples Pooja, Darshan, and Timings Uma Maheswara Homam in Srisailam is performed daily. The puja lasts for 3 hours. This puja is performed to strengthen the bond between the couple. It is believed that this puja avoids disputes between the couple. This puja can be performed before and after the marriage. Couples prefer this puja when their relationship is at stake. This puja should be performed to avoid divorce and to reunite with their spouse. Either the husband or the wife can perform this puja. Parents’ presence is not mandatory for this ritual. This ritual is performed individually. Anyone can perform this ritual regardless of their age. This puja is performed outside the Srisailam Temple.

Two priests will perform this ritual. The puja starts at 8 a.m. on normal days. During festival days, this puja starts at 7 a.m. A single person or a couple can perform this puja. Please bring one kg of cow ghee when you come for this puja. One should take a head bath before and after the ritual.
Pooja Dress Code

Instructions to be followed
- Women can participate in this puja after the fifth day of their menstrual cycle.
- One should stop consuming non-veg and alcohol for another 11 days after the puja.
- Three days before the puja, one should abstain from alcohol and non-vegetarian foods.
