Navavarana Pooja in Srisailam: Cost, Timing, and Booking

Navavarana Pooja in Srisailam is performed in a yagashala outside the temple. The puja lasts for 3-4 hours. Usually, two or three priests perform this rite. It is advisable to perform this puja on Pournami days for the best results. The puja starts at 6 p.m. This puja is performed for family well-being. Anyone can perform this puja regardless of their age. A single person or a couple can perform this puja. This puja is performed following the Srividya tradition. One should perform this puja with utmost devotion and sincerity. Goddess Tripura will be pleased when someone offers libations at the Bindu point of the Sri Chakra.

Instructions to be followed

  • Women can participate in this puja after the fifth day of their menstrual cycle.
  • If there is any death in the family, one should perform the puja after 3 months.
  • One should stop consuming non-veg and alcohol for another 11 days after the puja.
  • Three days before the puja, one should abstain from alcohol and non-vegetarian foods.

Sri Chakra Navavarana Pooja Procedure in Srisailam

The experienced priests will perform this Sri Chakra Puja. During this ritual, the puja starts at the outer circles and moves towards the Bindu (the center point). This represents the journey of the soul moving from illusion to spirituality.
