TTD is now selling Gold Dollars in Tirumala, Tirupati, Chennai and Mumbai Location. Lord Venkateswara Image will be printed on the Dollar with Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanam surrounding. The Counter in Tirumala opens from 7 am till 5:00 pm, which is located right next to Laddu Prasadam Counter.
The Silver and Gold Dollar rates change week to week and the calculation is based on the bullion market rates. Rates will be revisited every Wednesday morning.
Dollar Rates calculated as on 6th Mar, there are about 469 (10gm-Rs.29,340), 1296 (5gm-Rs.14,885) and 46 (2gm-Rs.6,165) .While the silver includes 3244 (10gm-Rs.575) and 1301(5gm-Rs.310) are available. In Tirumala, Andhra Bank looks after the Selling counters. In Tirupati, it is managed by Syndicate bank.
