Our Sanskriti & Gyan Temples Pooja, Darshan, and Timings Tripura Bhairavi Homam in Srisailam is performed daily. The puja lasts for about 3-4 hours. Two to three priests will perform the ritual. The goddess is also called Kala Bhairavi. Anyone can perform this puja regardless of their age. Tripura Bhairavi is the presiding goddess of this decaying world. Instructions to be followed
- Women can participate in this puja after the fifth day of their menstrual cycle.
- If there is any death in the family, one should perform the puja after 3 months.
- One should stop consuming non-veg and alcohol for another 11 days after the puja.
- Three days before the puja, one should abstain from alcohol and non-vegetarian foods.

The goddess is seen wearing silk apparel. Tripura Bhairavi’s lips are marked with blood. She holds a garland in her hand, which represents fearlessness and boons. Those planning to perform this puja should reach Srisailam one day in advance. The goddess Tripura Bhairavi has a red complexion. It is advisable to fast while performing this puja. We don’t suggest fasting for the elderly and children. A proper seating arrangement will be made for the elderly. The Japa Sankhya determines the cost of the puja.
