Tirumala, 21 December 2017: As this year-end rush is coupled with auspicious days including Vaikunta Ekadasi on December 29, Dwadasi on 30 and New Year, TTD has geared up to meet the pilgrim rush and already began arrangements for the same.

Ø  In view heavy year-end rush, TTD has cancelled all Arjitha sevas from December 28 until January 1.

Ø  As the Vaikuntha Ekadasi is falling on Friday, with special Dhanurmasa Pujas and Abhisheka Kainkaryams, the Vaikuntha Dwara Darshanam is reduced by four hours.

Ø  Darshan for VIPs will commence from 5.30AM  onwards and for common devotee after 8 am on December 29.

Ø  As over one lakh pilgrims are expected to throng Tirumala during these occasions, TTD has made elaborate queue line arrangements for the devotees.

Ø  For ministers and constitutional dignitaries, they will provide two rooms and not more than six tickets at Venkata Kala Nilayam located in Sri Padmavathi Rest House area for self-arrivals.

Ø  For MLAs, MPs, MLCs six darshan tickets and a one-room only will be allotted in Ramaraja Nilayam and Sita Nilayam rest houses.

Ø  For All India service officials, four tickets and one room will be allotted at Sannidhanam and for other officials at Gambule guest house.

Ø  No tickets for any sevas will not be issued in JEO camp office at Gokualam from December 28th onwards. All officials will supervise the arrangements for devotee facilitation under the supervision of Tirumala JEO.

Ø  As over a Lakh pilgrims are expected to throng on each of these days, TTD has urged the VIPs to co-operate with the management in the larger interests of the pilgrims.
