Tirupati Footpath Alipri and Srivari Mettu Opening Time

  • Alipiri Mettu Timings: 5.00 a.m. to 8.00 p.m. for adults and 5.00 a.m. to 2.00 p.m. for children under 12 years.
  • On some days, devotees are allowed even after 9 p.m. at the Alipiri Mettu path
  • Srivari Mettu Timings: 6.00 a.m. to 5.00 p.m. for adults and 6.00 a.m. to 2.00 p.m. for children under 12 years
  • Srivari Mettu’s path entry remains closed after 5.00 p.m.

Dress Code while walking

  • Any decent outfit is allowed while walking by steps.
  • Devotees can carry electronic gadgets such as laptops, mobile phones, etc.
  • Devotees are allowed to walk in groups at Srivari Mettu and Alipiri Mettu paths.

Luggage Depositing Counters

  • Free luggage depositing counters are located right at the footpath entry points.
  • Devotees can leave their luggage, which will be carried to Tirumala by TTD.
  • Devotees can collect their baggage from the GNC tollgate for Alipiri baggage and at MBC for Srivari Mettu baggage.
  • It usually takes 3 to 4 hours for the luggage to reach Tirumala.
  • It is advised not to keep valuables in the baggage, such as electronic gadgets, delicate items, etc.

SSD (Slotted Sarva Darshan Tokens) at Alipiri Mettu

  • SSD tokens, which are Aadhar-based free darshan tokens, will be issued at Srinivasam Complex, Vishnu Nivasam, and Alipiri Bhudevi Complex.
  • Daily 10,000 to 15,000 tokens will be issued at these counters.
  • SSD tokens will be issued at 9.00 p.m. for the next day’s darshan. These timings might change without prior intimation. Earlier, Devasthanam used to issue SSD tokens at 3.00 a.m. for the same day darshan.
  • The quota varies from day to day, depending on the rush.
  • Devotees who receive SSD tokens can reach Tirumala either by walking or by vehicle.
  • SSD tokens might not be issued on specific days such as Rathasapthami, Vaikunta Ekadasi, Vaikunta Dwadasi, and Annual Brahmotsavam days.
  • Free vehicle parking is available at Alipiri Bhudevi Complex.
  • It usually takes 3 hours and 30 minutes to 4 hours and 30 minutes to reach Tirumala.
  • Eateries are available along the path.
  • Washrooms are also available along the path for the devotee’s convenience.

Divya Darshan Tokens at Srivari Mettu

  • Free darshan tokens will be issued at the Srivari Mettu entrance.
  • The devotees must reach Tirumala by steps at the Srivari Mettu path.
  • Daily 5,000 free darshan tokens will be issued at the Srivari Mettu path.
  • Devotees are requested to report at the specified time at the Vaikuntam Queue Complex.
  • Free vehicle parking is available at the Srivari Mettu entrance.
  • It usually takes 2 hours and 30 minutes to 3 hours to reach Tirumala.
