8 Apr Darshan Updates: Heavy weekend rush coupled with a series of holidays which began on Thursday has been continuing in Tirumala. By the time of 6 pm on Saturday, the lines are getting added at Silathoranam and for tokenless devotees, it is taking approximately 30 hours for the darshan of Sri Venkateswara Swamy. On Saturday itself, till 5pm, Annaprasadam was served to 80 thousand pilgrims in MTVAC and another 80 in outside queue lines.

Expecting a similar Rush on 22 Apr, and 23 Apr due to Public Holidays and on 29 Apr, 30 Apr and 1 May. The devotees are requested to plan properly for Tirupati Darshan.

Tirupati Darshan Tickets Quota for Apr, May, Jun and Jul 2023 months

  • Heavy pilgrim rush is anticipated this summer between April 15-July 15 in Tirumala and Tirupati.
  • Weekends followed by Public Holidays will be high and Darshan might take up to 24 to 48 hours.

  • TTD board has reduced the VIP Break Darshan quota, SRIVANI, Tourism Darshan tickets, Virtual Sevas with Darshan and Rs.300 Special Entry Darshan tickets.

     

  • Divya Darshan tickets will be issued at Alipiri Galigopuram Center and at Srivari Mettu
  • Daily 10,000 free tokens will be issued at Alipiri Mettu and 5000 tokens at Srivari Mettu
  • Sarva Darshan tickets will be issued at Alipiri Bhudevi Complex, Vishnu Nivasam, Srinivasam Complex, and Govindaraja Satralu.
  • Sarva Darshan usually takes 11 to 48 hours depending on the rush.

Summer Accommodation Allotment in Tirumala

  • Priority is given to common devotees i.e 85% of the 7400 rooms and four PACs available at Tirumala to accommodate nearly 40,000 devotees.

     

  • The Face Recognition Technology(FRT) installed recently has infused transparency in the Accommodation Allotment System.

     

  • TTD has appealed to devotees to plan their stay in Tirupati as accommodation is very limited in Tirumala.

     

Anna Prasadam and Drinking Arrangements

  • TTD is providing Anna Prasadam, Buttermilk, Drinking water and medical aid in the compartments besides laying shelters, summer coolant paints on the Mada streets, Narayanagiri Gardens queue lines, vital areas where the congregation is more, for convenience of devotees to combat the scorching heat.

     

  • In addition to Matrusri Tarigonda Vengamamba Anna Prasada Bhavan, the old Anna Prasadam complex and food counters in other regions have also been arranged

     

  • Purified Drinking water is made available at many locations in Tirumala and garbage cleaning arrangements are also made.

     

Hair Offering (Tonsure)/ Mudi

  • Non-stop 24/7 tonsuring is available at the main Kalyana Katta and other mini Kalyana Kattas.

     

  • Adequate Laddu Prasadam is kept in stock for devotees’ requirements.

     

  • TTD vigilance and Police coordinating with each other to enhance parking space in Tirumala
