The annual brahmotsavams of Lord Sri Venkateswara Swamy witnessed a rare and unique procession of first of its kind in the history of the temple when the processional deity was taken for a celestial ride on the glittering golden chariot.

Lord traversed through the four mada streets seated majestically on the golden “Devasana Peetham” on the 30-feet mighty golden chariot.

Devotees flooded to the hill town to catch the glimpse of Lord gigantic chariot and especially women devotees enthusiastically took part in the pulling of the chariot chanting “Govinda Nama”.

Tens of thousands of devout thronged to see the grandeur of Lord along with his two Consorts on the beautifully decked, golden chariot.
