Marriage Location: Within the temple premises. There are extra charges for photography and video shooting.

Tiruchengode Temple Marriage Procedure

  • The bride must be 18 years and above.
  • The groom must be 21 years and above.
  • The bride, groom, bride’s parents, and groom’s parents must be Hindus.
  • This temple only permits Hindu-arranged marriages.
  • The bride and groom must submit Aadhar card photocopies and SSLC attested photocopies.
  • An unmarried certificate is required from the VRO/MRO. You can obtain the certificates online.
  • The bride’s parents and groom’s parents have to submit their photo ID proofs.
  • Booking is required for the marriage permission at the temple
  • Marriage fees do not include Pooja articles, Garlands, Purohit charges, Nadaswaram, etc.
  • A receipt will be issued from the temple, with which registration can be performed in your hometown.
  • The online booking is not available for marriage reservations at the temple.
  • Pre- and post-marriage rituals can be performed outside the temple.
  • The temple premises only permit marriages.
  • Love marriages are not allowed at the temple.
  • The seating arrangement is not allowed in the temple. All devotees have to sit on the floor themselves.

Marriage Registration Procedure

  • Bride and Groom’s Aadhar card photocopies and SSLC mark sheet
  • Bride’s parents’ and groom’s parents’ Photo ID proofs photocopies
  • Two witnesses’ photo ID proofs
  • Marriage invitation card
  • Marriage Photos
  • Receipt from Temple after the wedding
  • Two passport-size Photos

Tiruchengode Temple Marriage for the Same-Caste

  1. Bride and Groom’s Aadhar Cards photocopies
  2. Bride’s parents’ and groom’s parents’ Aadhar Cards photocopies
  3. An unmarried certificate from the Bride and Groom or a duly filled application sealed and signed by the Thasildhar/MRO
  4. The unmarried certificate must be in Tamil or English
  5. The bride’s and Groom’s Community certificates and TCs are required

Inter-Caste arranged Marriage ID proofs

  1. Bride and Groom’s Aadhar Cards photocopies
  2. Bride’s parents’ and groom’s parents’ Aadhar Cards photocopies
  3. An unmarried certificate from the Bride and Groom or a duly filled application sealed and signed by the Thasildhar/MRO
  4. The unmarried certificate must be in Tamil or English
  5. The bride’s and Groom’s Community certificates and TCs are required
  6. NOC from the Local police stations
  7. A notary must record the marriage details and obtain approval from both the bride’s and groom’s parents.

A minimum of 20 to 30 days of booking is advisable to make the arrangements.
